My vehicle alarm started to actup ,had to pay AAA an extra $40 just for a flatbed.Any suggestions on a plan that offers more benefits (more towing miles,no flatbed charge)? :?

Well all that I have heard of is AAA, I think basic only covers 3 miles and "Gold" you get 100 miles but I think it costs $100 a year. It would be nice if there was something that just did towing and covered over 100 miles. Just looking around using google and most of the others look the same.

Jorge,
From the look of it, you're looking for the 'cheapest' / 'most for your money' Roadside Assistance not necessarily the 'best'. If I were going to trust someone I'd definitely go the AAA route, or call Land Rover Roadside Assistance which will tow you to the nearest dealer for $99 ... (seems high, but when you're stuck out in the middle of nowhere in a snowstorm in Northern PA I trusted them)

Why would you have to pay extra for a flatbed? Were they charging you for going over the mileage limit on your AAA membership plan? I never had to pay extra to get a flatbed with AAA.

John that was my truck at the holland at 3:30 PM aprox, the problem was a faulty ignition switch.I am going to be signing up with Allstate roadside assistance. The tow limit is $250 per breakdown regardless of flatbed or wrecker.
