I think I have lost enough brain cells now that I want to do Black Bear Pass. But I ain't going to do it alone. Just in case I roll down the hill I would like someone there to collect my watch for my son. Is there any interest in do this and other passes in the area?

I would if I could. It's not that big of a deal- if you had to do it alone. The only worrisome area is just as you crest the hill and see Telluride in the valley below. It is beautiful, but slightly off camber. Make sure you take Imogene Pass back to Ouray. It makes a great day.

Black bear isn't really that bad, it was actually the first real mountain trail I did up there

Black Bear is rather crowded so it is unlikely you'll be alone. Unless it is night, or the weather is poor, in which case it is not recommended to travel anyway.

Pretty views there for sure.

I am guessing Solihull will be running it this summer.

Even if they do not have it listed as club trail ride for the summer I am sure you could post there and get a few people to go with you.
