rear gas tank

i want to place a rear tank under my series and use it as the main tank. any ideas, suggestion and how to's?

I have used a poly tank to a jeep cj...they come in 15 and 20 gallon versions. Later cj's had a 1 inch diameter filler neck hose which is easier to fit between the tub and the chassis. I plan on fitting one to my 109 but the larger 20g version. Look at TeriAnn Wakemans site for more info. -John

There is so little room back there I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. Two saddle tanks will give you pretty decent range and everything you need to install the reserve tank are off-the-shelf parts.
