I did it last year in the D90 with all the crap for 2 people so one should be a breeze. :)

Hmmm this will be one lonely ride Noah. No idea what you guys are talking on pirate, but I might run Indy with Tis on Monday, work and Defender permitting.
BTW, bring lots of spare parts with you.

Yes, I did sign up long time ago but stopped visiting unless someone posted a link to something interesting. Pirate is not my style, I'm not a hard core wheeler nor a fabricator :lol

Noah...I am also leaving on the 10th. I will be meeting another guy (maybe his sons too) in Keene, NH at 6:30 Fr. morning. I live in Meredith, NH, so takes me 1 1/2+ hrs to get there. I will be driving my 90 and he will be towing his 88". You are welcome to tag along. Dave

Dave - I guess that would be fun to caravan out there. Even more fun to get up before 5 AM.
Yousef - I drove cross country twice last year .. I like the long lonely drives ;)
And spare parts! I know. I don't have any "major" spare parts like drive shafts or axles lying around.. but I'll be bringing a fistfull of u-joints and multiple shocks. Hopefully taking it really easy without locking up will bring me home carnage free. And the truck already has HD parts all over it.

Hippert and I are talking about camping, so who up for camping. It's nice if we able to get a good size group at the same camp.
I'm thinking about the campsite on loin back road or trail. It's the one just north of town by the Colorado River. What you guys think?
Having kids is always a plus :)

I'm looking for something close to town. Anyway, we will be camping with Keith so his Samantha can play with my Yasmine and Ahmed :)
BTW Tis. I won't be able to hit Indy :( The D90 won't be done in time. In fact the D90 will be done on Wednesday and we'll be heading to Moab on Thursday morning.
C ya guys there :)

I decided I can't wait around any longer so i've been spending today getting the 90 all ready for the trip. I'm going to head out tomorrow morning .. giving me plenty of time to have a leisurely drive to CO and recoup for monday morning.
Mike - I finally found someplace (the only place in maine apparently) that does nitrogen charging on shocks. He was a real nice guy and now I've got my two fox spares with me.

Your little birdy will finish my D90 tomorrow, but there is a list of stuff that needs to be done before I take it out to the trails. Listen, you backed out last year from running Idny, this year is my turn :)

No, we just ran a different trail instead last year. Don't try to change the subject! I'll expect to see you at IHOP in C Springs at 8AM Monday morning.

What? you mean Lower Helderado? No that's not true. When we got to Moab Larry was heading there so I unloaded the D90 form the trailer and we went to lower Held. You and Troy fell a sleep that day, came to the meeting spot late and half awake and you guys figured we're not gonna have time and it's better if we go to Moab instead.
Anyway, I'll do my best to get it done by monday.
When you gonna be here in Town?
Follow-up Post:
Wow 8am?? That's not gonna happen bud. My daughter leaves for school at 8:15 and my son at 8:30, so I won't make it :(

Boogie on down after you drop them off, we probably won't be that far down the trail. You know how it is, everyone will be a little late, then air down, ect. I'll be at Keiths and then Troy's sometime Sunday evening.
