O.K. fun time. 94 tub - 95 wiring harness. Want to put 95 & 97 round light on tub. Question - could someone let me know what the length of the 3 lights are from end to end (middle to middle) and what the 2 lights are from middle to middle? and what is the space between each light.

Thought is - going to have a piece of oval (square with rounded ends) metal cut and drilled to fit a 3 round lights and 2 round lights set up. so i need to know the legth of the lights.

Yep I know I am going to have to drill the tub as well to get the wiring harness to plug into the lights.

If anyone has already done this, please let me know would like to see how it turned out.

Clay, you don't need to cut out a bezel, you can just drill the tub to accept the newer style lights and they will cover the existing holes just fine. ECR does this all the time and I did it on my '93 110 as well.

Andrew,
How did the passengers side turn out as the lights are kind of offset on that side? On the driver's side, did you use the existing hole for one of the lights?

I don't actually recall exactly how it all works out. It was a couple years ago that I installed them, but they do fit and cover the existing holes.

Does anyone have any pics of the 94 with the 95-97 style LEDs? Is the conversion really as simple as it looks?

All over ECR's site, but FlaD90's (SafariDust) truck is also a 1994 converted to '95-97 style LED's.

What's wrong with the square lights? I like knowing a 94 from a 95/97.

There's nothing wrong with them- just a matter of preference...I like the round LEDs...

I'll take your old square ones once you have you new ones installed.

Everything fits fine. You just have to drill some new wholes and mess with the wiring a little.

The only thing (very picky) is that the stop/tail lamp plinth (black plastic thing that holds the LED unit) does not sit 100% flat on the tub because of the tub's vertical capping.
The 95-97 vertical capping is cut out for the round lights, the 93-94 is not.
It looks fine, but there is a small gap. You could shave the plinth down to match the shape if you felt is was an issue.

I would keep the square lights but it is 6 one way 1/2 dozen the other. I have a 95 wiring harness on a 94 tub. So either I cut and redo all the rear wiring or drill 3 holes and covert to round tail lights.

Can anyone tell me the spacing between the rear lights on a 95 and 97? How far apart is each plinth from each other?
Thank you in advance.
