My starter is acting up so I'm going to replace it. What should I pay for one?

Check out Mean Green starters I think they are around 300$. Much beefier than stock. OEM starters are around 200$ from Atlantic british here on the East coast.

I have a mean Green. So far it kicks A$$. But if you don't wnt to spend the extra $$$ you could have yours rebuilt for less. I think I would have rebult mine but the inside was trashed from dirt mud and water, 2 of the brushes were worn down to the wires and it made funny sounds when you spun it by hand.

Mike,
How much for a brush repalcement? That could be a viable alternative to dropping big cash for a new one.
