1994 NAS D90. AA yellow. Was in a rollover accident in the late 90's. I rebuilt the truck also in the late 90's.
I replaced all the body panels except one door and the bulkhead. The bulkhead was repaired.
The front and rear fenders have been trimmed to fit 37" tires.(no going back without panel replacement)
Has a custom roll cage that is a mix of the factory cage parts and some added tube welded in for strength.
Missing some dash parts that were borrowed for other projects.
64K original miles.
Stock drivetrain with OME springs(upgraded drivetrain available for extra $$)
hasn't been started for 3 years.
$10k serious only please. No current pics at the moment. call me for more details.

Its probably less that he's in a hurry and more that the truck is at the back of the shop with stuff all around it. I think this truck is better than Shane is describing it. Hell of a deal, I'd buy it myself but yadda yadda.

So does it have a clear title or a branded, salvage or rebuilt title?
Does it currently run and or drive at all? Or would it with minimal work? I under stand it's sat for three years, battery, oil chance, fuel flush would it start and drive onto a trailer at least?
PM or email me some more info and email some general pics if you could.
I am looking to buy asap, was building one and I am VERY close to pulling the trigger on a whole bunch of new parts to finish the build, new frame, new bulkhead etc etc..... I'd kind of like a whole NAS truck if the title is good.
Thanks,
Doug

Well regaurdless of tittle status, good luck with the sale. If I were building another trail rig I would snatch this right up , I have never had much luck wheeling a peice of paper, they dont do well in water.

Horsey,
that line in the title doesn't specifically answer Doug's question.
Could have been salvaged in the past and have a clean title now, and / or all variations in between :)

considering the stigma of the word salvaged, it would be quite odd for someone to figuratively use the specific legal term when selling a truck, unless it was actually salvaged. resto-mod, converted to wheeler, i rolled it and kept on runnin'... any number of phrases could be used besides salvaged.
i would assume its salvaged unless, the owned chimes up and says he didnt mean to say it was salvaged.
although, i admit i was unaware that a vin with a salvage title could be "un-salvaged" legally or otherwise, so to speak. how does one go about doing that? one could make a mint!

This D90 does have a Salvaged title. I bought it from a junk yard.
Someone else rolled it. I rebuilt it......and took it apart.
here's a picture of what it looked like with 35" tires(don't have these wheels/tires anymore)

Simple word playing, so let see if I can help ( and this varies from state to state )
1 - car was paid by insurance company due to theft, collision, but damage was less than 75%, the minute the Ins Co takes possession of the unit they get a Salvage Certificate ( no title, looks like a title but the wording is Certificate of Salvage )
2 - same scenario but the damage is greater than 75%, some states issue a Certificate of Destruction, will never be titled again and some will issue a Certificate of Salvage with the wording " Damage Greater than 75% ".
Both cases listed above, in MD will get a Title , a normal looking Title, but will have a little box checked saying Salvage History or Ex-Salvage, this is achieved by taking the unit to the State Police for inspection in which they deem the unit roadworthy, and when they do, they will sign on the Certificate of Salvage for the MVA to issue the new Title.
You can't obtain Registration / Plates with a Salvage Certificate without the State Police Inspection
Now, there are states in the South, that will not mark the new Title with the history, it will be a normal Title just like it was before once the State Police has deem the unit roadworthy.
