hey MR, who did your iron work on the roll bars?
i'm local Dallas as well and will be tackling my S2A shortly so you'll have to provide the assist on some local shops!

Check out "All Terrain Fabrication" on E Plano Pkwy. They didn't do this work (done in UK) originally, but they have seen it as I was going to get some mods from them, and do this kind of thing a fair bit. You should be impressed on some of the work in their shop. Not cheap however...

So, what's left on it that's "2A" beside the tail lights?

Looks like at least the rear bed. Not my cuppa tea per se but looks like a fun vehicle. Enjoy it.

Still have the 69 for my more traditional / purist itches (below), but the Hybrid is pretty fun to crawl around....

Hey Mike,
Where did you get you soft top for your "hybrid"? I installed a D90 windshield on my Series and now I was looking for a top. I was thinking that I was going to have to modify a 90 top. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All Wheel Trim in the UK can make a 'hybrid' soft top, with a Defender front windshield connection, and the shorter 88" rear top - I got my new one there... plus you need a hoopset. The modified soft-top only is around £ 300...
I have 2, one new and one older, so if that $ is too steep for you, I could part with my older one for ~1/2 that. But you'd still need a hoop set. That I do not have extra unfortunately.
cheers, mike
