I keep getting this error message when trying to upload some pics:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator (admin@d-90.com) and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I've seen this complaint a few times but can't tell you why. Try logout/login again, or close down all browser windows and then start it again, perhaps clear your cookies. Somehow your session is getting messed up.

It is a style issue with the forum. Revert the templates or add the security token.

This is common with vbulletin upgrades.

There is nothing that the forum members can do to fix this and it isn't an issue with your computers.

Chris can respond regarding upgrades and templates he has applied, but this doesn't sound likely to me since it would be a consistent issue for all users, not random for some. It has never happened to me for example using firefox and/or forum runner.

It is a very common issue. It may not be what I describe, but I would be willing to bet money that it is.

Joe if you have a link to the issue topic, would you be so kind to post it, i'll look into which one you are referring too.

Ron and others.. if you happen to notice, is it in any section you try to upload a picture in, or a specific section, like the classified section only? I'll look into it the styles and security token. Ever since the last upgrade, I have been trying to chase down one or two other bugs that get reported to me, mostly permission based, and I cant single it out.

Of course all these my go away after the next upgrade.

You're not by chance changing the date on your system to run the hacked Microcat are you, and forgetting to change it back to the current date?

Chris, I just managed to duplicate this error on a mac/ff 4.0.1 in the classifieds/wanted section, and then in defender tech discuss again to prove it's not forum specific.

What I did was try upload 3 iphone pictures that were native size. I tried with fewer pictures and got the usual message saying the image was too large. Without doing anything if I just used resized pictures, or changed the set of pictures it succeeded. Looking at the messages in firebug, the cookies are getting god-awful log so maybe were hitting a limit and the session info is getting cropped or something (it's last on the cookie list).

Anyway, to anyone reading this if you get this message, resize your images or try a fewer number. Eventually you'll get a message showing which image(s) are too large.
