This'll be the 110's first outing since the engine swap!! Can't wait! Kevin, Joey -- you guys want to come play in the sand? ;) (James, blow of the concerts man!) There are over 30 trucks planning to show -- Pismo offers one of the few times you get to wheel with a big group, but spread out and do your own thing as well. No waiting in line to squeeze between the rocks!

Hey, what do ya know, that's the weekend of our group's annual Pismo trip! Too bad the D90 won't be going - I've got some work to do on it. But I'll be there in my Jeep J10 baja racer pickup truck. I'll be on the lookout for a gaggle of LRs!

I can't make it this weekend. But if there is interest in getting a group together to go on another weekend, then perhaps I can make it then.

Wicks, I'd like to check out your D90 & those of the 'fleet'. You can spot me in the truck below. Are you guys coordinating on a CB or family band radio channel?

Nice looking Jeep PU! We'll be on FR #3. Campsite is marked 'Eucalyptus' on the map that they hand out at the park entrance.
See you in a couple of days!

As far as jeeps go, that's the coolest I've ever seen. ;)
We'll be on both FRS and CB - dunno what channels yet, but we shouldn't be hard to find. In case phone's work there my mobil is 2134222979.

i'm thinking roll at 7AM, meet doug and the 110 in SB, and then we'll be at Pismo around 10 or something. Prolly not a good deal to caravan as we'll slow each other down. ;)

I didn't realize you guys were just there for the day - I met up with the club after most of the D's had left for the day on Saturday early evening. The only D90 still at Pismo when I hooked up with the camp was Vince and his white '97 ST. Very nice truck! He let me take it for a spin & I decided that the OME HDs were the way I was going to go on mine.
Hopefully I'll manage to catch up with you all at the next event.

Darn - sorry I forgot to mention that - we had to head back to SB for dinner and then off we were.
We'll connect on the next trip. When is it I wonder. Got to break in the new XZLs. :) :)

What! No 9.00s! :) I'm sure you'll be satisfied by thier performance. One side note, since your running these heavy tires and steel wheels I'd recommend you use 4 oz. Equal Tire Balancer. I run the 6 oz. in mine and have never had any issues with them.

I got volunteered to run Miller for the Endless Summer gathering - that should break them in nicely ;)
BTW, it's been postponed to mid October I believe...

No 9s, no, I'm a sucker for the standard approach. I don't use that equal stuff. Lead sticker weights keep me shimmy-free! ;)
