New 2011 Black LR4 Metropolis Edition Available!

I remember from reading the forum that several people really liked the LR4 Metropolis Edition, and some have already purchased. I just received a New 2011 Black Metropolis Edition that is available. It is all Black with Black 20" Wheels, Black Wood, Black Interior with Ivory Stitching, Black Grille, Black Side Vents and Black Door Handles. If anyone is interested, please let me know!

Got any pics? My wife drives the White Metropolis and loves it! I was told they wouldn't do Black. Guess they changed their mind :). It's an awesome truck.

That was quick Martin! Ours is on the Showroom Floor, it arrived Monday. BTW, we purchased an Off-Lease vehicle a few months back and it had your Business Card in the Owner's Manual! I meant to say something, but forgot until I saw your post here.

Is CCP and locker available in those? What trim level is it?

Does it have Ivory or Black interior?

They have Black Interiors with Ivory Stitching on the seats. Ours has CCP, not sure about Martin's. I don't think any of them have lockers.

For the record. The LR4 is a great truck. It's amazing how the minor cosmetic changes really improved the look from the LR3. The engine is much better as well. My wife drove the LR3 before and it was very nice but very few people noticed it. The LR4 gets positive comments all the time. In fact 2 of my neighbors now own LR4's. The Black looks awesome. I'm sure they will sell quick.

Neil, they won't have the stitching, but for the '12MY you can actually order the wheels as a factory option on any LR4! Just an FYI...

Yes its a fact the MY12 will have the option of the Metropolis Wheel.
A potential buyer has to consider that you wouldn't get the black extended roof rails, black
door handles, black side vents and black grille, all exclusive options of the MY11 Metropolis.

I saw a black one on the road the other day. My wife drives the white Metro, which is a head turning truck, but the black looked very cool. Had both versions been available at the time of purchase it would have been a tough choice.

bschmeiser - The available Black Metropolis is priced at $54500.
It has 1100 miles. I can provide financing thru the store.

dmarchand - The white is as hard to find as the black. I will let you know if I know of an available white ones.

I moved here to Oahu last month. I've seen 1 other white metro and 2 Black ones! I'm really digging the black. The LR4 gets lots of compliments.

I'd own a new LR4 in a heartbeat (especially one that was optioned as shown above) if they'd just import the twin turbo diesel. It is the most annoying thing in the world!
