how is the weather stripping attached to the bottom of the doors on a 94 ST? the fasteners look like plastic rivets or something. am I correct? either way, I need to remove the weather stripping. What's the best way to do this? do I drill them out like a metal rivet? do I pop them out w/ a pry tool? If I have to destroy them, how do I avoid leaving little peices of the fasteners inside the door (I don't wan't anything rattling around inside the door frame)? Thanks.

What gives? No one knows about this? I've read posts about guys replaceing doors and all sorts of stuff, so somebody has to know the answer.

Nevermind guys. They are metal pop rivets. Thanks anyway.

Yes, just drill out the aluminum rivets with a 3/16 bit. Get the new rubber and rivet it back on.

Or,
Just tear one side of it off, grip it as hard as you can and pull. It will all tear off.
