Help Identify Part

- 2.25 Diesel

Is there supposed to be a hose that connects to this part? (At the end of my finger)

I was spinning the fan tonight and heard a pumping noise coming out of this connection. Never noticed it before. Other end of hose goes to the radiator expansion tank. Truck has always ran fine.

Mine is configured a bit different, but there is no hose coming off of one fitting like yours.

Not sure if that is good or bad though

Its a vacuum pump for the brake booster. No idea why yours is hooked to the cooling system.

Line up the two marks on the pulley and pump body and then fill it with 20w50. There should b e a fill plug on it somewhere.
