Anyone have a good, early Series I tranny or know of a source for one?

Just sold mine. What is wrong with yours? The guy I sold mine to just wanted some small parts of it.

It needs a rebuild - 1st and 2nd gear. It's not shot, but it is noisy. I was looking for a spare.

If you aren't concerned about origionality, you can use a S2, or S3 with a 6cylinder bell housing (its the one with the bolt hole @ the starter bulge)

That would have a hydraulic clutch though. Also, 1958 SII 88" had the same 2 litre IOE motor as the SI, but again a hydraulic clutch.
