Has anyone put in overhead flexy maplights? I have one for my cig lighter but it's just not ever in the "right" position when I need it.

If you have, can you share some pics?

Not flex but very bright, I can see everything in the front or the back of the 90.

This is the light, I had 2 but broke one while wheeling. Only problem is the getto mounting system (zip ties).

What is that white hose thing on the roll cage. Does that go to a camelback...

LOL no it's the air hose for my steam whistle.

No pix at the moment, but I mounted a cheap but bright headlamp in the same spot on the overhead roll bar in my 90. It was simple to just tighten up the elastic head band. I suppose it is sort of ghetto, but if you know my wiring skills you understand why I went "cordless".

Two things: 1. I replaced the rear view with an aftermarket mirror with compass, external temp gauge and twin reading lamps. 2. Hella map light with 19" neck hard-mounted to the rear of the cubby. Front or back passengers can use it.

Doug,

Good idea for the map light on the cubby - I was wondering where I was going to mount one myself.

What rear view aftermarket mirror did you choose?

Can't remember the brand. They are not cheap. I searched around a lot and finally found one I liked. But it is one of the most used upgrades, especially the temp gauge, I've done. (Guess you've gotta be into it! ;))

Check out this guys' mirror - complete with a display screen (in this case, tied to a rear-view webcam). I don't know if I need that, but... that's a pretty cool mirror (as far as mirrors go...)

I spotted this (http://www.expeditionexchange.com/hoshos/DSC00858.jpg) on the EE. Apparently, Ho swapped out his Disco OEM for this aftermarket. You might give him a buzz if you're interested.
