View Full Version : Rear jump seats

I bought these jump seats for my Series and I can't figure out how to make them work. I have tried the seat bottom hinge bracket both ways and move forward and back and still can't make them fold up with the back cushion in place. No matter what the fold down leg only keeps the bottom level if it is straight up and down instead of back against the tub like I have seen in others. Also the back bracket only lines up with the top rail if I hold it up off the fender well. None of the holes line up with the original, however it is a tub of a IIA so not too concerned about that.

Any thoughts?

You have the bracket attached to the seat up side down. See attached pic's. These are all the pic's I have on hand but I can take more tomorrow if this doesn't get you going. You can even see the indention from the bracket in the vinyl on the side of your seat in pic 3 and 4.

Well damn that certainly explains a lot, thanks the only thing I did not try. Built a whole truck and was thrown by the simplest thing.

On the back of the front seat two seats.

Got it only have two that's what threw me off. Should have 4 but only installing 2 seats right now

They only go on the front two seats to line up with the holes. The rear two backs do not use them. They line up without the bar.

That makes sense as I installed the rear ones without them. I also noticed what looks like spacers on the bottom of the uprights which mine did not have but I came up with some.

I don't remember spacers... There were some spacers between the side of the tub and the back bracket but that was to keep them from crushing the plastic molding around the SW window. Might be a difference between Series and D90?

Glad you got them figured out. Truck looks good!

Tub on a 90 and an 88 are different heights from the capping down to the wheel well flat part.
