MAR Group Photo

Who's going to MAR this year? What say we do a group photo of the 90s? Sat at lunchtime, noon-ish up at the tent by the registration area? How does that work for ya?

DAMN! I was just about to post the same question....

So who's going. I'm actually considering it, even after doing the 48 hour roundtrip I did last year... :crazy

But now that I learned it's really a meet and greet, and good to see all of the vendors in one place. I'm reconsidering my adament decision after last year's event to not go.

I guess I just miss you guys... :)

Except this time I would head out from BOS either Wednesday night or early Thursday!

I think I'll be in that photo(my first time to MAR) .I plan on leaving on friday night .Anyone going from the NY area so as to run a convoy.I will be taking the copies of the DVD from Rausch creek(finally).

Dave, you're welcome to overnight in DC on your trip down. Glad that time has made the horrors fade from your memory. I'm eager to see the truck in action, not just hang around the parking lot. I'm even planning on bringing the truck to the rally instead of the rental Malibu. I think the 90 has just a little bit more clearance...:)

I will be there this year as a passanger with the philly gang. My 90 is hurting and wont make the trip. Trying to get it ready for SAE (?) in Nov.

One of my mechanics is hoping to have his TDi 110 together and one of customers with a full Hannibal tent/awning set-up on his NAS110 is planning on going , so maybe we should organise a 110 group photo!

Some coordinating instructions:

Suggest that the Defenders (and the cool Disco owners) all be up CH15 throughout the weekend. Cell phone coverage is very poor in the area.

Sounds like we'll all be straggling in througout Thurs, Fri, Sat. I hope to leave DC at around 8-9AM to arrive by noon on Fri and will be looking for someone to run the trails with and laugh at the stock Discos (and the guys in Trail Marshal(l) vests :))

Photo op for all the DEFENDERS, with Disco support, on Saturday at noon-ish. Bring your tripods, your dogs, and of course your muddy trucks.

This is gonna be CRAZY!

This coolest of Disco owners will be arriving Thursday evening with cool kid and cool dog. I was going to set up camp on the meadows behind the cool pond. CH 15 it is.
Oh, and our dear friend Tyler will be wearing a Marshall's vest, and he will be saying "Reach for the sky, Buzz Lightyear" a lot. Wait, is that the type of marshal we're talking about?

Ken, I'll be driving down either Thursday night or Friday am but coming from Jersey. I'll be driving the Disco though, since I have my wife, 2 boys and a dog with me. If I don't leave Thursday night, I'll try to hookup with your convoy on Friday morning if that's okay. Thanks!
