Ambulance body

Hey guys,
I'm looking to convert my 82 109 series III ex mod to an ambluance body. It's a soft top now but as I cant seem to sell it I am thinking about converting it over to an ambulance camper. Does any one have any experience what these body's or the swaps? Also does any one have any leads on an ambulance body they may want to swap for a normal soft top body.

Thats where that thread is! I have been meaning to update that.

I swapped one on a coil chassis...It was one of the best things I did to the truck. We camp a lot so it just made sense.
Biggest thing I would change would be the bulkhead behind the driver and passenger to get more leg room. We opened it up a lot, and it is an easy pass through but you would need to reinforce the body if you removed more. Eventually...

I don't know if you want to go that far, but last time I was at PA Blanchard's they had a lot of Ambulances ready for restoration.

I've got one in VA. I'm just using it for storage at the moment but it is in fairly good shape.
