Smiths or British Jaeger gauges?

I can buy a set of old genuine Jaeger oil and water gauges (separate gauges) or I can buy the repro Smiths gauges or I can buy a set of old Smiths gauges. Which would be the more appropriate given that the truck is a resto mod and not an actual refurb.
My inclination is towards the Jaeger gauges as that's the brand of the speedo and multi gauge that came in the truck. They're electric too and not mechanical which is a plus in my mind.

PS Still working on the fake-o tach. Think I got it worked out.

For your purposes I think either would be fine. Most people probably wouldn't even notice the difference between smiths a Jaeger.
I prefer mechanical gauges, but that's just personal preference.
