Ok, I am trying to wire my truck back up now and I bought a new heater box/matrix and fan assembly. The problem I am having is that my trucks wiring harness has 3 wires for the heater (prple/green, grn/yel and grn/slate.. My new heater matrix has 3 wires also and one is red, one is brown and one is green...... What the F&*k..... How do I wire it? :angry

I would first figure out which is ground via an ohm meter and then find out by measuring the resistence which is high/low fan. Just match that off your old unit.

Green/slate on resistor connects to black on fan.
Green on fan goes to purple/green on main harness.
Green/slate on resistor goes to main harness. (there are 2 green/slate on my resistor).
Green/slate on resistor goes to black on fan.
Green/yellow on resistor to main harness.
Are your 3 wires you are talking about coming out of the resistor? If so, one of the red or brown would be a hotwire for the fan. The other wire for the fan, probably green, hooks to the purple/green. The other 2 would go to Green/slate and green/yellow. I may be wrong, and sorry if I added to the confusion, but it is hard to picture not looking at your setup.
