D90 is gone :(

But I am going to get rolling on the 110 build since I now have JimC's old drivetrain.

Questions:
1. Can someone please measure the length of a 110 rear drive shaft, V8 and/or 300 TDi.
2. What options are available for side tanks on a 110 SW
3. What do the connections look like on the ignition switch and does anyone know of a reasonable substitute.
4. I do not have a tach, is the tach in the ciruit with the alternator or will the alternator charge without it?
5. I do not have a fuel gauge, this does not particularly bother me but does anyone have the specs as I would be inclinded to use the series one if it was compatible.
6. I need the support stuff to mount the radiator, does anyone have it used?
7. I also need the stuff for the steering colum. Anyone have this used? Would RHD fit? Would a RRC stuff fit (this was my plan)
8. Does anyone have measurements for locating V8 engine mounts on a 110?
9. I am planning on using TDi X member mounts for the t-case, is this ok?

Thanks

Ron

I have a 93'D110 fuel tank complete if you need it. The Tdi weld on mount jig I have, also has the location for the V8 chassis mounts. And I still have a couple chassis mounts for V8 as well. The alternator has a W terminal that will send a tach signal.

May have a D110 driveshaft as well.

Ron,

Mantec sells a tank: http://www.mantec.co.uk/index.cfm?param=Products/detail.cfm&id=945

Depending on what they want for it, I would recommend finding a boat builder who specializes in custom tanks. That's a better route usually.

Pendy, is it a side tank? I have a rear one. I have to buy those V8 mounts off you, send me an email. evilfij at yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo . com delete extra ooooos

What do you want for the 110 rear driveshaft? I am pretty sure it is the same length as a 93-94 LWB driveshaft (95 have rotobomb) which I can find inexpensively (wife bought 04 rangie so I am temporarily poor).

Randy, I have the main harness thank you. The steering colum you have is only the shaft little piece, I need the whole shebang brackets, wheel, everything from the box up, do you have the rest as well?

The side tanks I want are the ones under the seats.

Ron, I have the full steering colum and the bracket/cap that goes on the bulkhead. You still would need a few of the other small brackets though.

Sorry Ron it is a rear tank. I have a D90 side tank that I cut at the seam and welded a bottom there. It leaks but the price is right. shipping.

The driveshaft is left from a cust. truck. I will ask a price for you. What is fair?
V8 mounts 20-30$ plus shipping and LR novelty. pendy1@cox.net an address. But I will check on the shaft for you first.
