I am new to the forum and am trying to find out the max. tire size I can fit under a D 90 without trimming metal or enlarging my turning radius. It has a SafariGard Stage II kit which lifted it about 2 1/2" over factory. Thanks for any input.

Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the biggest tire is that I could fit on s D90 with stock suspension so that there is no rubbing or cutting invloved?

Thanks,

Jan

I am surprised nobody told you. 35in tire with the right backspacing.

This is the turning stops. Just loosen them and you are good.

I have 285/75/16 BFG AT KOS and the are fine. I did have to adjust the stops. Actually NTB did it for me. I have been told that I may get a little rubbing during HEAVY off road but have yet to hear any. I would check to see if the MT's add any size otherwise I think you should be ok.

randy, the stops are the bolts on the back of the spindel.
They are easy to adjust you just need a couple of wrenches to adjust them out. Do a little at a time until the tires dont rub.
Instead of adjusting my stops i did an OME 2' lift . the tires still rub a little but i can live with it. ;-)
