View Full Version : Dash Lights Vanished!

Yesterday evening I got in my truck, cranked it up, turned on the lights and noticed that it was awfully dark in the cab. It seemed that my dash lights decided to cut out, yet every external light (and the dome light) all still worked. Furthermore, the clock still runs and all of the gauges are operational. This morning I checked the fuses and they all appear good. Is there a fuse or relay that's not on the main fuseblock that I don't know about? Any help would be much appreciated!

Check the Dimmer switch to the left of the wheel, the plug on the back can fall off.

I tried flipping the switch, but I didn't check the connection. I'll give it a shot at lunch. Thanks, Mike.

No luck, the switch was still connected.

In both cases it sounds like a relay issue. Trace the positive wires back to the source and test the relays.

Philip,
It's not the warning lights, it's the lights for the gauges, clock, and heater/defroster switches. My warning panel actually works like it should.
