Does anyone know the part number for the seal between the rear hardtop window and where it rests against the tailgate. Also some pictures would be nice, thanks...;)

Chris,

There is none:

I ended up with just setting a towel across the end to stop it making noise.

BTW: I also emailed you. I found that one little bracket and two others assocaited with the mounting of the struts (parts 6, and 7 in the link above) if you want to come pick them up (I can leave them in a box on my porch if you want).

I will leave them in a box on the porch with your name on it if I am not there.

Actually there is a piece of weatherstripping there.

I have a pic, I'll find it.

Really?

Are you sure that is not an owner mod? It sure sounds like a good idea.

I'm sure because I bought my hard top new and it was there. I took a pic yesterday, now I need to crop & post.

ALR8357

Of course the 1/2" adhesive-backed foam weatherstripping that comes in 10' rolls at home depot would have largely the same effect.

Thanks for the picture Jim. I had a feeling that there should be a seal there. Does anyone know where I could purchase one? Again, thanks for all the help!;)

ALR8357 is the part number, just ask for it at the dealer or any other supplier like Rovers North or RDS. It will probably come included with the main tailgate seal, I think they are the same shape, just different lengths.

I have a piece of seal I will leave on the porch chris. It was a redundant door seal. You can cut to fit.

Ron

EDIT: damnit why didn't I think of this.

That sounds great! That will work perfectly. I was thinking of doing something like that if I had difficulty finding the proper piece. Many thanks Ron!:)
