ST header bar installation

When installing the soft top header bar on the windscreen frame, what goes between it? Sealant? Some home depot foam tape? Any suggestions would help.

randy my header bar had a high density foam glued to it . I think the home depot stuff will work.Another option would be the 2 faced tape used by body shops to attach name plates etc. I used it as the seperation between my wing protector and my wings. It has some cushion and stays put. the stuff i have is only 1/2 inch not sure if you gan get it in other widths.

thanks ron, I was thinking of going to the hardware store tomarrow and getting the high density foam stuff and just laying 2 strips down. One in tthe front and one in the back. I think that will work fine too.
