I've noticed several new members lately with Colorado addresses and wanted to make them, as well as any other locals, aware of a mailing list specifically for Colorado residents - wannabees, future or past residents, or any persons who just want to join are welcome too. :grin
There are about 53 of us on it so far.

Wish you could make it Adam:grin

Those belong to Gord Land, he's a member of the list who is physically located in Canada, but plans to visit Colorado.
They are sweet rigs, a 1986 & 1987 110, both with 2.8 TDi's and tons of mods between them.

That is a bummer, I've been really wanting to see your D90 in person, oh and you too Dave:grin

If you're down in Denver so often you and I should get together for a beer sometime after work. I've got a seasonal part-time job at REI now (the flagship Denver store) but my schedule is pretty open.

Love em. Would be thrilled to see more detailed pictures. I may paint my Willow Green to that drab green color someday. ;) Are those G90s you've got on the 110?

yes they are indeed G90s.....had them put on in the Uk before the trucks were shipped to Canada

the Blue filter picture is great. I wish there was an outlet for G90s here in the states!

Did you get them on the 86-94 fleet liquidation? Looks like you got there first...

Gord - in your bio there it looks that you put chequerplate on the hood under the spare tire carrier (apparently your earlier rover). I have that piece sitting in the garage and have been reluctant to put it on mine the same way, though I bought it expressly to stabilize the hood while a spare is fitted.

Did you find a significant improvement with it fitted?

it did make the bonnet a little more stable......especially when you have crawl around on it......and if you have a bigger tire it can't hurt.......made the Bonnet just a little heavier

as far as the trucks.....i looked for 2 years to find these in this kind of condition.......plus i had to find LHD trucks and of the correct vintage to be able to import them to Canada......these trucks were found actually sitting beside one another in a heated warehouse At ....L. Jackson's company's site in the town of Mission near bawtry in the UK last July.........

Wicks, Rovers Down South (www.roversdownsouth.com/rim.htm) carries the Nato rims and GY G90 tires. They sell them as a package I think. Check em out

Interesting Gord. Quite a find. Curious that he was in such refined Landy style. Tres cache.

Yes Glenn I remembered I had seen them on George's site. I am looking into it. Those while wheels would have to be refinished...
