Hi - I'm looking for 1 stock fender flare, front left, for my 97 D90. Should be in relatively good shape. For some reason, my current left front is not stock and doesn't match the rest of the flares.
Please email if you have one, or if know where I can buy a used or new one.
Thanks!
Paul

The fender flare you have is one of the later model flares, with a gloss finish. Matte ones are no longer available from LR. Seems like I remember seeing one for sale on ebay. Go to roversland.com, and click on their parts link. It will carry you to their ebay page. I think it was them that had it for sale.

Well, I think the most economical way to "fix" my mismatch LF fender flare is to just paint the glossy one to match the rest of the matte ones. Can't seem to find a good used matte.
Does anyone know where I can get the Land Rover paint code for the matte finish on the fender flares? Is there a database somewhere on LR paint codes? Should the body shop be able to look that up?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, that is not paint that makes it flat or glossy. It is just the plastic. I believe that the glossy one will fade in the sun in time. Oryou can find a matte black in a can like some SEM self etching primer and paint all of them.. other then that, they will never look the same.

I think they started making those glossy ones when the designers decided to start including finishing the fender flares with the body paint.
Perhaps you want to update all of them to the glossy as a solution.

Paul,
Roversdownsouth have the two rear glossy owns from LR on their site. 50 a pop I think.
