I've looked at the FAQs and the old BB. I'm trying to find the connector to plug into for trailer lights. I've read that it's supposed to be behind the right tail light. Well, I've looked inside the light housing, inside the wheel well, and behind the speaker housing on both sides. I'm wondering if I'm looking in the wrong place, or if a PO clipped it out during a wiring mod.
Is this what I should be looking for?

That looks correct, if you look inside the rear OS wheel well right above the rear crossmembe it should be hanging there. The wires run up inside behind the speaker.:grin

I "think" i'm seeing this split in the wire harness, but no connector. One set of wires run up to the right speaker and the others run to the left speaker, behind the fuel tank.
Ugh. Looks like I'm cutting and splicing to install an aftermarket harness and converter. Can't see spending the $80 for the geniune LR part.

They sell aftermarket harnesses at Wal-Mart cheap. Just don't forget ground like Jimmy did at MAR, you don't want to have to crawl under a muddy rover to fix the lights for your 600 mile trip home.:grin
