Hi everyone, sorry for a cross post from Dweb, but I was wondering if anyone can run a VIN for me to get the Land Rover history on a 94 Defender? VIN # is SALDV2282RA938969. Already have the carfax, want to see the service history.

Thank you for any help. If you wouldn't mind emailing to me at rbd4a@yahoo.com I would appreciate it.

I apologize if this post is in the wrong section, first posting on D-90 Source.

thanks Peter, actually already have the carfax and that is all clear.

i was able to get the warranty info on the truck and nothing was out of the ordinary - no big ticket items done. not sure if that is a good thing or bad. what is now worrying me though, is that it has the LT77. the truck has 54k miles on it, and no mention of the trans in the warranty work. here is the link to it and looks like work has all been done at Land Rover Parsippany (Jersey): http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=148088443&dealer_id=760936&car_year=1994&make=ROV&distance=25&max_price=&model=DEFEND&sort_type=distance&advcd_on=n&end_year=2004&min_price=&certified=n&address=22033&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1983&=&color=&cardist=200

Should the LT77 really affect my decision and should I look elsewhere? This is actually for a really good friend of mine who has no knowledge of Rovers, but is aware of what it will take to own one. I will probably be helping maintain whatever he gets and therefore don't want to screw up and get a money-pit. Thanks guys.
