Yes, it was written up a few issues ago in one of the LR mags detailing the mods by a dealership. I will try to find the issue.

I believe this vehicle is owned by, but is definitely modified by Outback Offroad in Tennessee. I haven't been able to find front photos of it, but supposedly they custom made the rear steel bumper you see, and they made a custom front whinch bumper, and sliders as well. There are some other pictures of it on the tnrovers.com website. The group of people affiliated with Outback Offroad were at SAE this year with a few nice defenders and discos, and I spoke with someone there who said that they owned this vehicle as well.

If you go to their events page under "October 2004 Windrock TN", there are a few picture of it wheeling. There isn't any information about it on the site, I got the info from some people down at SAE this year, after hearing that Outback Offroad name being talked about. If you post some questions on their BBS I am sure someone (possibly even the owner) will chime in.

I see a new rear bumper, 32in tires, 2in lift, and a sticker. Am I missing something here?

Ok so I found the issue of LRM that has it. Its in the June LRM on page 80 its owned by Dave McCoy. It is a 2004. It has custom front and rear bumpers that still have the Park distance sensors.

Yeah! No kidding Dave. I don't know why he just doesn't rap that RR in a spider web-like roll cage and then slap a catchers mask on on the front? That way he could just roll around like a hampster in a plastic ball! Its "fool proof!" Well, at least until he gets dizzy! :finger

You mean an exocage? Nobody has ever done that before. It's just too crazy.

I do find the humor as well, but at least the "Off-Road" pics aren't after he's raked a pile of leaves in his back yard and parked it on them. He is at least wheelin' it.

That said, maybe he can custom fab. those park indicators into his driver's door so it'll beep if he's gonna ding it on a car he can't see with his 2" lift.

My fiance` jokes about calling Xzibit to come Pimp My Ride. She asked what I'd do if he showed up, my response, "He better be taking the Jetta."

If I ever see a Defender on there it better be on fire on the way in and all they do is put it out, fill it with gas, and hand the keys back over.
