Since guys are planning all the way out until next summer, maybe we need something to fill the gap.
How about a trip in Feb/Mar?
Options I'd offer up:
Rausch Creek/Paragon
Skiing in Utah
Skiing in Colorado
Skiing at Tahoe
Who's in???

I was going to hit the Alps in February, but Rausch Creek sounds like the "it" spot this year to see and be seen. Count me in.

I/We have a place in Wolf Creek (Pagosa Springs) if you wanted to ski in CO. It would have to be the third week in March though. Let me know your thoughts.

I could make another Rausch/Paragon trip, although it'll be more than a day trip for me at least. Let's pick a date/weekend.

Pick a date. I'd like to check it out. I'll camp in a hotel too.
Is there an address I can check the location of?

Randy, when are you and Pete going to be finished with your rigs? Can you be ready in Feb or March?
Feb 21 is Pres Day weekend. We could waste a holiday and go that 3-day, or we could make up our own federal D-90 Day in early March. A quick Google says that avg temps are still in the mid-40s in March, but sure has got to beat the NE weather.
Any thoughts on dates or other limitations?

Ken, My truck will be ready to go on a run in april the lates. IT wont have the dash in yet but it will be drivable and ready for its first trail run since the rebuild. By no means will it be done. I hope to have almost everything complete for MAR.

There's a big Winter Event in Maine over the weekend of Feb 18-21 that I think quite a few of us NE boys are planning to attend (I know I am), so another weekend might up the attendance.
There's also an OEX event Mar 4-5 (http://www.overlandexperts.com) that I'm planning on going to, don't know about Mike, Jimmy, Marchand, etc.
How about March 18-19th? Might be late enough for Randy to be ready, but still fill in the winter gap?

Those dates look good for me, count me in. That is after I figure out why my D-90 stalled at 60mph on the Belt parkway yesterday...:hmm
