Any advice on what to replace the stock brake discs and pads with (and where to purchase)? I'm considering drilled and slotted discs plus kevlar pads. Any experience with this set-up? Thanks.

I have tried all types of pads. (NAPA, Genuine Land Rover, Kevlar). If it were me (and the next time that I swap pads) I would stick with the Genuine. Namely due to the fact that they diminish about 95% of the squealing seen with the aftermarket brands. Even with extra brake lube, the NAPA pads were simply horrendous, furthermore I had to remove them several times to file them down; in addition I could be heard stopping from miles away.

Rotors: Drilled and Slotted the only way to go. (DBA)**

<EDIT> These are just my past experiences and opinions.**

I went with the cheap stuff.

Lockheed pads and Britpart Rotors From Atlantic British. Pads were like $30.00 per pair and the rotors like $40.00 each.

Installed the rears today......now I know why the Dealer/Stealer charges $600 per set. Its pretty straight forward, but takes some time.

Lockheed/Geniune Pads (I believe they are the supplier for LR) and stock rotors. Simple and cost effective. I've never used anything in addition to the stock pads to quiet them, nor have had reason to. Make sure your pads have the pins and springs with them. I have seen them sold separately before.
