Greetings from frigid Colorado. I have been driving d90 to all my 4x4 destinations over the last couple of years. I am now considering towing. Looking for some pros and cons of using a auto dolly. I don't really want to flat trailer it, due to cost and storage issues. Any thoughts appreciated. JP

Dolly sucks, have to pull the rear D/S everytime you tow, also they are unstable. Buy a trailer.

Yeah, I have to agree. I have never heard anything but bad stories about dolly towing anything with full time 4wd. No matter which way you do it, you are still putting wear on the transfer case and the front axle.

Plus, if you break the wrong things on the trail, a flat trailer is probably your only way home anyways.
