Side Window Guards

I am looking for some guards, mesh or netting for my SW's rear side windows. My girlfriend has a pug that tends to make a run for it when left. I know "just shut the side windows" - his little brain will fry! I've tried the local sources to no avail.

Maybe these? Not sure if the opening is small enough for a pug.

I have a cargo net from this co and the pug can fit his head through. I'd be afraid he'd hang himself while trying to escape. Close though!

Bummer, what about the netting they use in car trunks? It is pretty small and doesn't look to bad either. My parents Karen Terrier tried jumping out while going 40mph, she get's straped down now.

George at RDS may have the gaurds from a G4 SW that would work.
