ZF Transmission Refill Quantity

Question for the D90 owners on the ZF automatic. Typically what has been the refill quantity in the auto box after a drain and refill? I know the whole thing holds around 10 including the TC but what should it take on average just in a refill? thanks for the info!! jeff

Here's what i have found on my own..the trans holds 9.6 quarts(per the manual, including the tc). an average drain and refill is anywhere from 6.5 to 7 quarts. And, the fluid level is to be checked cold in neutral(after running the shifter through the gears) but it can be checked hot also...add 19mm or 3/4 inch to the high cold level.
also, getting the crossmember out was easier than i thought...took the jack out of my kid's pathfinder, turned on its side, a block of wood and a few turns, the crossmember falls out...
