Shock Help

I was at a 4X4 shop (I wont mention any names) (4 wheel parts) and was looking at getting a set of Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks. They said that they don't make them for the D90. How could this be? I readily admit I know squat when it comes to most automotive things but I found this strange. Can some one point me in the right direction (size, model #) of the RS9000 so I can get a set. Thanks

RoverTym lists these as the Ranchos they keep in stock for Rovers. I don't know it you would need adapters for some or all of them as I have never run a set myself.

I suggest switching the front shocks from the pin type mount to the eye type mount.I had Rancho pin types on my 90 and they both broke at the bottom pin resulting in no front shocks.

Just saw your bio... Fox remotes? What do you think of them? Are the eye to eye? Which adapters did you get if so?

They are eye to eye. They give a nice ride on road and off road they seem to be adjusted just right. they allow good travel and they don't let the front end bounce at all. There is a link in the link above that has the mounts that I ordered.
Mounting the remotes and using stock shock towers is not to easy. You have to separate the shock from the remote, drill a hole in the tower, install the shock in the tower, pass the hose for the remote threw the hole and attach it to the shock. Once all of that is together I had the shock pressurized to 200 psi then I installed them on the 90.
