Great post! I am getting one of these for Christmas and I wanted a rover shell for it. Way cool!

Nice find Art! That is outright fraud.

The not so funny thing is, I was interested in this auction as well: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2444946144

I contacted the seller thinking the truck is actually in the states. Come to find out. The seller is promising delivery of said truck from the Netherlands with title, etc. upon sale only.

I don't get it David, what is going on here. That truck looks like mine.

I don't know what was going on but all those auctions have been pulled. I assume someone was trying to rip folks off and got caught. I'd love to find a body like yours. The body on eBay right now just doesn't look 'right'.

Hey,

That is the body I have on my T-maxx. I just trimmed the fender wells out, you have too because they rub a little. I painted it and I bought the "hard top" that the guy sells for $2. It all came out looking pretty good.

Emailed the guy with that auction. You were right. For 2GBP more he had the hard top...I ordered it today. Wish I'd had it last week while my truck was in for paint. I'd have had them shoot the T-maxx too. :)

You can buy spray cans of your rover color from Rovers North. They are factory labeled... So maybe it's not too late.
