THis seems like a good deal to me. What do you guys think? Also...why are the '97 worth so much more than the '94's?
Any help/advice is much appreciated!

I don't think it is such a good deal. $25k, and that's not even the reserve. I would rather have a truck with 60k-70k miles, to have all the bugs worked out of it, like the transmission replaced. 97's are more valuable because they are 3 years newer than a 94, and because they have automatic transmissions.

Well, it does only have 12k miles on it.

The seller has zero sales on E-Bay. I personally try to shy away from that. If you have a good independent mechanic check it out, Car-Fax the VIN and you like it, go for it. A 9 year old vehicle with that low of miles isn't going to be with out bugs. I am sure things have "given up the ghost" on the truck.
My guess is that the seller had the D-90 out on "Long Island" to use while the family "Summered" hence the low mileage. Good luck...Dave
