2001 Defender 110 Diesel in the USA

I wonder how this guy got it in. I sent him an e-mail and he said he had no problems titling it and insuring it??? He purchased it from a guy in hawaii.

I know this topic has been well versed but they are showing up in the states one by one. :)

I've seen this sitting on a lot here in Boulder. They were asking 70K for it!!! It is in really nice shape though.

Funny how it says nothing about what it's titled as.... What year was the Model T invented?

The carfax is interesting. Shows it was registered/titled in 2002. Looks like someone slipped it in the country in Hawaii...

I had a State trooper call me a couple of months ago. He was wanting to know if I still had my 110? I said yes! He then said there were 2 110"s with my VIN #"s. He gave me No further info! Now you have to watch your credit card info BUT your VIN as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny the carfax shows that 110 registered in Hawaii. I just moved back 1 month ago, and today I saw a newer looking Non-NAS 110 Tdi on Oahu. I stalked the vehicle for a while, but never did get a chance to speak with the owner. Would love to know how he got it here.

Also, I have seen 5 other 90's in the past month on Oahu, mostly around Diamond Head & Kapiolani Park. Any of you on the Source?
