Looks great Michele. What size tubing did you use?

I'm at the final stage of finishing my rear bumper. I used 2X3X3/16's and 3/8 mounting plates. I'll post pictures tonight as the bumpers look similar :)

Anyway,rocksliders mimic the OE sills perfectly (used the old ones as template).
I ended up with...mmmmh...er...60X60 mm box?

Can measure if you want.
Sliders are 3mm (erm,again...IIRC) thick,while bumper and cradle are 5.
All stainless steel.
Can get the specs,but it's some tough industrial stuff.
I tried to drill a couple of extra holes but after 10 minutes nothing happened.

Do you want to know how much this joke has costed to me in papers?
Around 110/120 Euros inclusive all the faxes I sent out to get the LR permissions.
And it's not over yet!
At the end of the month (the 31th at 2;30 PM) I'll have to bring the truck in Como
to some smart engineers who'll decide if it's road legal or not!
Guess what if they say "NO"?

LOL yep I spotted the cap in pic 8. I wasn't going to say bigger tires, I have heard about the crazy laws over there, I was just going to say with all that you have done maybe some more off road worthy tires to match. If they don't think that your 90 is road worthy just tell them the moderator of theD-90 source said it was OK. :)

That old D90 cap has been covered in some of the finest UK mud last winter

let's add another 60Euros I paid 5 mins ago
to a garage to get a declaration which says
they did all the mods.
