:( Guys, I am very reluctantly putting the Defender up for sale, due to alot of stuff that has happened recently, none of which was bad, thankfully, but they leave me with no time to work on or use the truck. Quick specs are:

94 D90 converted to SW
about 98,000 miles before drivetrain conversion, 0 miles since conversion
new 2003 model 300tdi
new 2003 model R380
new 2000 model LT230 (1.4 ratio)
galvanized chassis, rollcage brackets(under truck), bulkhead, inner fenders, rear skid plate, transmission crossmember and 3 link crossmember
new full external roll cage
new doors
3 link
ome suspension with scorpion racing evolution kit
rovertracks drag link
tom woods multiple double cardon front driveshat
stock rear driveshaft with new uv joints
sunroof
wet okolee seat covers

......and the list goes on. I will be getting the roll cage and interior trim Friday, so I hope to have the truck finished completely in the next 2-3 weeks, that is if we get a few days of wet weather. If I typed out everything about the truck, you would get tired before you finished reading it. Anyway, PM me if you are interested in buying the truck. I have title in hand.

Thanks

Chris

Yeah, I really hate to let it go, I put so much work, sweat, and even a little blood in that thing :>), not to mention $$$. At this point it doesn't make sense for me to keep it. My business is really taking off, and it makes more sense for me to use the money elsewhere, than to just let the defender sit in the garage and not get used. I have been busier than a one-armed wall paper hanger the last 3 months, and it doesn't look like there is any end in sight to the madeness. Hell, I bought a new skeeter bass boat about 2 months ago, and haven't even finished breaking the motor in yet. I don't plan on getting out of the d-90 community, just taking a break for a while.

Thanks.

Hello guys. I apologize to anyone that tried contacting me about the truck. I have been busier than a 1 armed wall paper hanger for the past 2 months, and have not had time to check email/pm's. If anybody is still interested just shoot me a pm or email, and I promise I will respond :>)

Thanks

Chris

Guys, just wanted to update the info on my truck. I am selling the truck as it is, with all the parts I have, and including a 66 2a for free, for $45k. If noone wants it, I am listing it on ebay Sunday night. I can send some updated pics/specs if any of you are seriously interested.

Thanks

Chris

I'll take the 662a for free :) !

I hate you have to sell it, but good luck none the less.

I hate it that I am selling it too. I don't have to sell it, but it would be a shame for it to just sit in the garage unused. I will probably end up getting another 90, but it will be a truck like the LE I had, auto, no big lift or tires. It kills my back pressing a clutch pedal, and hurts me even more jumping up in a truck.

Follow-up Post:

How about just giving me $45k for the 2a, and I'll give you the 90 for free? :>)

Oh I wish...my brother may need a truck though :naughty.

Since I got the 90 I've wanted to restore an old II or IIA for a beach vehicle. I know I know, use the D, but I'd want to leave the IIA at the beach (and I love driving the D too much at home). That and I know my fiance` would kill me if another Rover sat in the driveway (at least one that leaked as much as mine-but it keeps the weeds down).

Jeez - get a new fiancé if her priortites are that messed up ;)

Well, come to think of it, I could sleep in the IIa instead of the doghouse

I'll trade you a 97' LE with a supercharger and aux. fuel tank for your built up 90. You can keep the IIa and sell it for gas money.

Chris I thought you sold this? What happened last we talked you had several offers. I bought a couple pieces of property and did a few shuffles with my money like I talked to you about. Did you get anymore done on the truck since we last talked?
