For those that were talking about the Convex Mirrors from Expedition Exchange in the Siliblade thread, here is a before and after picture when I installed my set. Defiantly an amazing improvement over the stock rear view mirrors.

I have them as well. They're great.
Installing heated backing to them this weekend.

I just bought those the other day and they are the definitely worth the price. Felt like I got an extra set of eyes, IMHO these are a must have upgrade.

Put mine on yesterday. Huge improvement, worth every penny. Ditto on the silblade wipers.

Mercs? Oh yes they make the better bump sound when I run them over. Good solid sound. But Phil, why warn them by installing even more turn indicators?
Half the people around me either do not use thier indicators, or use them all the time.
Just kidding but you all sold me. Am ordering Convex mirrors today. Honestly, i am not used to little tricked out Honda cars passing on the right and especially not used to motobikes running between lanes. I need all the visibility I can get.

IF you fold in your mirrors it gives you that much more room when following those motor cycles that are driving between lanes.
I didn't notice how bad the stock mirrors are until I put the top on. Before I could look over my shoulder and see everything, now I have to stick my head out the window, or chance running someone over. I guess they would make a good x-mass present, but I also want HEATED mirrors so give up some info or no LRM for you!

LOL, Google: "heated defender mirror": http://www.offroadstore.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_DEFENDER_and_SERIES_27.html
It took about 3-4 weeks for delivery. Some extra charges for customs. I wired them up via a Hella relay and directly into the rear heated windscreen switch in the SW, so that the heating element is timed.
Edit: Of course, their is a search function here on D-90.com...
