D90 Basic roof rack kit

Does anybody know the weight limit of the basic roof rack kit? (land rover part number 9029). Haven't been able to locate it anywhere. Thanks

I think it is around 150Lbs. I seem to remember seing it somewhere. Be cautious though any weight up top changes the center of gravity.

Surely that must be the safe limit for driving? I would think the rack could hold much more, because 2 people in a tent would weight 400 or more lbs.

I believe that LR quoted me 200-lbs when I had mine installed about two years ago. Obviously the limit is low to protect LR from any future "court" appearances due to situations of overloading. I weigh 195-lbs and I can walk around on the basket without any issues.
