Hansen told me that Safety Devices went bankrupt.... Does anyone know anything about this???

I haven't seen or heard anything outside of what he told me.

Yea its true. They have stopped production and they are not shipping out what they have there. Last I heard they were looking for someone to buy SD in howl but had not found anyone.

I have not heard the howl story about whats going on with them. I don't know if they went bankrupt (hard to believe but I guess its possible) or what.

Not so hard to believe. US market was poorly penetrated with usage by to few vehicle to maintain an intrastructure. I had contacted them looking for US dealers/vendors to purchase a full rack and other items for my D90. 2 names supplied of which both stated they did not carry the brand. As to the UK and world markets, they have been underscored for some time by competition. Final nail in the coffin could well be existing and futur Land Rover work and/or contracts. These would be reissued under the FORD system so....
