Anyone come up with a good solution to reduce the draft coming in from the side of the doors and the soft top? I know Land Rover had a door seal kit. Has anyone used it? Is it worthwhile?

I tried pipe insulation which someone had suggested somewhere and that helped a little bit but there needs to be some support there.

i think the only real solution is to trade in the D90 for something w/ real doors and windows.

Go look at the old links. Yousef has a nice add on he made and has posted pics. There is a LR fix - a bar that you can install but I have never found one.
Also, car wash rags ($5 a bag) cut to fit stuffing in gaps, died to the color of your top, dipped in cement sealer and of course stuffed in. Oh, and do a bunch. They fall out all the time.
Next Best solution - buy exmoorland heated seats, North face Glacier pants and parka and take the top off (keep Surrey top on).

And why on gods green earth would you buy a hard top?
(just kidding).

what top do you have?

If you have a tickford there is a kit for like $15 to stiffen the top along where a B pillar would be. Also you want seals in front all the way to the top and in the back where the door meets the tub. A door seal kit would work but you have to cut it as the door seals I have seen are meant for the fibreglass top.

This will get it about as air tight as it is going to get. Made a HUGE difference on mine, then I got a hardtop so . . .

Ron,

Any idea where I could get that tickford kit?

BTW, Art's drop curtain made a huge difference!
