Get ready for winter - get a fibreglass hard top for your landrover convertible.
I have a fiberglass hardtop currently still on my '94 Defender. I'm getting ready to take it off sometime soon. I'd rate it at a good solid 8 out of 10. Its in very good shape. Glass is all in good, rear door is good as are the gas hinges. I can take pics.
Truck is currently in NH (Manchester vicinity).

Will it also fit on a "95? Price? How far are you from Long Island, NY (about half way out)?

I will forward this info to my nephew in NY

Some pictures. No cracks where the roll bar goes in. I can now take more specifics if anyone is interested in particular shots. Price $1,500

If this is the same top Scott had when he lived out west, then it is nice indeed.

Scott, what are you going to do w/out a hard top?

Aye, it is. BTW, thanks for the plugs guys - it is in very good shape!
Um, .... use the softtop? Its a tickford and hasnt shrunk and shredded like many of the besttops, so its not bad.

Too bad these things don't ship well and aren't cheap to ship in the first place - they seem to crop up all over the country except where I want one - in CA :)

Top is still available. $1500.
Not sure if I want to hassle with shipping, unless you have some good tips.

Ill find some options and maybe we can work something out. Will this top fit my 97?
What is the zip code you would be shipping from in NH and if you are willing to do some shipping of it i can get a ball park figure.

The cutouts for the rollcage (the diagonal braces) are in slightly different places, so you might want to check the measurements. It would fit, but you might have to cut and it might leave and extra gap along the side. Dont want to torpedo a sale, but the instructions for my hardtop indicated to cut out an extra section if installation was on a 94.

Greg,

I think you meant to say that if Griff or Drew don't want the top that you're interested. I hate it when people hijack or poach on a thread...

Brian,

You are absolutely correct. If Griff or Drew don't want the top, then I'll take it. Sorry about that.

Greg.

Maybe my etiquette is a little off..........but..........didnt' Griff and Drew have a chance to say
"I'LL TAKE IT"????????
Seems like Boz is the first one with jewels enough to commit.

If everyone backs out I'd be interested in talking - but would have to figure out a way to ship.

Thanks and hope the sale works out for everyone,

Mike

Hey everyone

I have already spoken for this top and am just waiting for the time to get up to N.H and pick it up but unless this Christmas dinner provides me with a heart attack instead of the usual heartburn....it can be considered sold. Thanks

Happy Holidays
