Question? Are the time stamps applied to the posts correct? Some of the posts I read have dates and times that don't look like they can be right. Also, my posts are clearly not stamped at the actual time I posted (even if you account for differing time zones). It's not a big deal at all.... I was just curious.

Hi Brian,

Providing that you the time zone correctly set in your User Control Panel, the post times should be correct to within a few minutes. However, last month I found out that the time zone got pushed back an hour which has been corrected already. The forum pulls its time from the server the site sits on and post times are set for your local time (again, providing you set your time zone).

If you have some examples, please post a link to the post and I will look at them.

Thanks,

Hi Brian, any luck with the time stamp issue?

All is well now. I know I'm not crazy. I looked for some examples of the anamolies and what do you know, the times were accurate. Thanks anyway. If I see another example I'll send it your way.

Cool, thanks. Another thing I just thought of is that if you are not logged in under your account, the time on everything will default to GMT.
