Installing new kickdown cable...anyone?

Anyone ever done this?

Dealer want s $1000 to do it.

The crossmember and exaust have to be moved out of the way. and the cable is $74.




Any thoughts?

$74 + 3 hours labor at $70 per hour = $1000 Yep, math seems about right to me.

The labor is about $650

They would change the trans fluid and filter as well.

Good god man. Buy a service manual and do it yourself. The entire thing is covered in the manual!
