Defender Steering wheel center

I am looking for a steering wheel center cap for a 97 SW. The one that I currently have is pitting and dry rotting for some reason. If anyone has an extra or is parting out, I would be interested.

I think I have one in fine condition under my house--the steering wheel was bent, but the center should be perfect--I will check this weekend.

Can't you just paint it with some vynl black spray paint from Pep Boys? I would probably lightly sand it first.

I went under our house, but only found the bent wheel. I think that maybe when I bought the new wheel, I reused the center otherwise I think I would have left it on. If I find it, I will PM you.

there is a small detail difference between the 94,95 and the 97.
on the 97 there is a land rover logo outlined in the center of the pad and 94 95 its plain.

Well....thanks for looking anyway. I would be happy with any year steering center, mine just looks rough. I wonder how I could fix it.

Had the same issue and finally just bought a shiny brand new one from LR. Cost a lot but was worth every penny b/c I was looking at that ragged-out old one directly everytime I got in the truck...

There are a couple complete steering wheels on ebay....if that helps any.

Good luck. Oh, I have also seen several for sale on eBay recently. You can put in a saved search on eBay like "land rover defender steering wheel" and everytime one is listed, eBay will notify you...
