FOR SALE:
LR/Safety Devices NAS Safari rack basket and a pair of front rails.

I do not have the rear ladder assembly or a working set of the (4) round brackets needed to secure the front rails to the roll cage (above the doors).

I bought these parts from Trevor a couple of months ago and ended up buying a complete rack from someone else.

The basket is not in perfect condition but still usable... the floor is slightly bent...
but it still lines up to all the connection points correctly... you probably would not even notice the bend once the rack is up on the vehicle.

Since it is not perfect... the basket is ideal for someone who wants to make a customized/fabricated basket for a roof-top tent, etc...

The front rails are in good condition.

I'm willing to sell the basket and rails separate.

Make me an offer on these parts... I'm willing to sell them cheap since they are not perfect.

The parts are located in Los Angeles.

I might be willing to take you up on a cheap basket, and I think J-Burt wants the rails, so give him a shot. Also, I think that if the LR "feet" are NLA, "aluminum blocks" from Protection Products are probably an acceptable sub.

Jim -

I'll try to post some pictures of the basket later tonight when I get home.
Do you have any plans to be in the L.A. area any time soon?

What does NLA stand for?

I live in the Bay Area, so getting to LA isnt that hard, plus I have a buddy that goes down there almost every weekend, so we could work something out.

NLA - no longer available.

Jim,
thanks for the consideration, but I've got the bars, wanted the shorter basket. All's well though, X-mas is right around the corner :xmas

If I buy the basket, I've already got crossbars and a ladder, so assuming he'll sell them separately, then they'd be avail.

Here are some pictures of the parts for sale.
I've included some pictures of the brackets that connect the cross bars to the side roll cage bars above the windows... as you can see I have all (4) working brackets with the tab but only (3) of the other side and they are all broken...

If Jim buys the basket then the crossbars are available... the brackets can sell with the crossbars if the buyer can make them work... otherwise I just assume keep them for spares.

Jim... if you think the basket will work for you... make me an offer!

As a FYI, the feet are available. Give Mike a call at West Chester Land Rover. I just bought 4 from him last week. They were $50/foot.

He is listed in the Vendor section. For any genuine LR part he gives a great discount to D-90 members.

Joe,

Am I reading this right? You got the brackets that mount to the roll bar at $50 each corner, or $200 for all four? You mentioned it the other night and I understood it was $50 for all four.

The reason I ask is because I paid something like $55 for all four from roverconnection.com

55 for all four was a great deal. Probably was that the guy couldnt believe that was an each price and gave you a set for that price. I'd pick up an extra set if they could be had for 55 for four.

I agree - I'm gonna call tomorrow and see how much the feet are. If they are only $55 a set I will buy another set. They tend to break b/c it is a cast and not very strong.

My mistake, guys. I paid $55 each, I checked the invoice earlier.
